Industry legend, Andrew Grayland, has over 30 years experience in professional audio. Andrew studied electronics in Worcester while performing in bands, as well as mixing local bands and developing his own sound system. Andrew started his career at Klark Teknik and progressed to R&D manager, designing digital delay products and writing software for the DDA automated mixing consoles, plus he led the design of the Midas XL2 and XL3 mixing consoles. After Klark Teknik was purchased by an American corporation, he decided to pursue his passion for better quality sound in the DSP domain and form XTA electronics (from his spare bedroom). As Technical director, he led the design of equalisers, analysers, mic-splitters and digital processors. He also continues to be an active live sound engineer.
